Barnwell, SC
With the first of two kilns commissioned on April 18, 2010, Horsehead has started-up it’s first green field facility for recycling EAF dust in Barnwell, SC. The new facility will have the capacity to process up to 180,000 tons per year of EAF dust. The second kiln is tentatively scheduled to start-up later this year depending on market conditions.
